In January 2024, the first edition of Project AIR was published in Radiology by Van Leeuwen et al., comparing algorithms for Bone Age Prediction and Lung Nodule Detection on X-rays. A follow-up study is now being initiated for the latter, incorporating new versions and products to enhance this initial round of Project AIR.
Vendors who participated in the first study and have since updated their algorithms are invited to contribute to this follow-up with their new versions. For new vendors is this an opportunity to benchmark their algorithms against others and radiologists. We encourage all vendors to participate. The protocols can be found here.
